Flyer’s

For my next photography exhibit, I decided to create a flyer with self-portraits. The flyer will incorporate one image created from the two photographs.

Upcoming Photography Solo Exhibit, June 15, 2019

My client, Carolina wanted a 5″x7″ flyer packed with information and eye-catching visuals for her company. The flyer was to advertise an upcoming retreat to the Dominican Republic, therefore, it was imperative that the text is legible and the imagery is able to tell a story about the upcoming retreat.  Below is the flyer which I created with visuals provided by my client.

Welcome to NYC Poster

For the Aboutny Tours welcome poster, I gave a vintage look to an image of the Oculus and WTC. I also took close-up images of the Oculus and grouped them together. Doing so enabled me to create an ad which focused on the new and modern lines of the Oculus. Grouping these images embodied a feeling of photographic drama, therefore, drawing in a customer with a flair for the modern.

Quotes

Popular quotes are great ways to capture public attention. In today’s market quotes by famous artists such as, Van Gogh combined with enticing typography and visuals makes these quotes come alive.

Posters

Posters and postcards have always been great ways to market and advertise a company and/or product. Connecting to the public through ads seen in subway stations, bus stops fashion magazines or in today’s market, social media. The digital age has made paper posters almost obsolete.  However, digital posters are now more than ever great ways to connect with your followers.

Aboutny Tours Itinerary Brochure & Web link

When Aboutny Tours wanted to send an itinerary brochure to their clients, they contacted me. I then took their idea a step further. I divided the map of Manhattan into several of the more popular destinations, Downtown, Midtown, Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, Central Park and Beyond. Dividing the Manhattan map made it easier for the client to decide how convenient it is to get to each destination from the last. This made it more convenient for the tour companies to set up their packages, then sell these packages to their clients.

In today’s market, every company and freelancer alike should have a website in order to be seen by the buying public. Remaining competitive amongst the hundreds of businesses like yours is a key factor in the present day economy.  Even a simple one-page website needs to be done correctly to it’s fullest potential to achieve success. Aboutny Tours wanted just such a page.

Book covers

In the book The Girl with No Past, I wanted to create three different points of view.  The book covers are from the very dark to a soft mysterious who done it type of feel. The book jackets were created using Adobe Indesign.

Aboutny Tours, Logo & website link

New York City is a city where tourism is just as important as any other business. In order to stand out above the rest, a tour company and freelance tour-guides need to market themselves as industry experts. They focus and grasp the attention of those interested in coming on a  New York vacation. My job here was to portray Eugene McMichael as the tour expert with over 35 years experience. He wanted a tour poster that was clear of clutter, direct and to the point. I silhouetted the word New York City and combined it with an image of Midtown Manhattan.

Dr. Tatta is a recent client. With Dr. Tatta’s business card, I thought that it should be minimal, with a clean legible font and a vivid colored logo.

Urban Garden by Design, Website

In today’s market, websites have become the single most important part of marketing your brand and company. It seems like each time anyone needs to make a purchase or just find out about a company, they take out their phones and search the web. I will design a website which is visually appealing and easy to navigate. Maintaining the public’s attention is the key ingredient in the design of any website. I will do away with the clutter and maintain harmony through visually stimulating graphics and photography.

Zaborowski Resort Hotels, Branding

Zaborowski Resort Hotels was looking for a logo which was timeless and elegant. By using Adobe Illustrator I was able to design three very different logos which met ZRH’s criteria. I used repetition of colors in different hue’s to maintain a strong design, which gave the logo character and recognition.

Urban Gardening Magazine, layout

This is a lifestyle magazine about everything pertaining to the urban garden landscape. Imagine wanting to start or update a garden in the city, where else would you turn to, but a magazine about gardening in the city. In the cover photo, I wanted to capture the tranquility of the garden. The photography in this article was edited using Adobe Photoshop, the double page spread, I created with Indesign.

Logos

Every company and or freelancer wanting to succeed in today’s market needs a strong brand, a brand that will get you noticed and stand out from the rest. I bring knowledge of fine art and over twenty-five years of experience in the fashion and retail industry combined with the creative aspect of the design world.

Your logo will be clean, strong and one which is recognizable worldwide.
